There's a bright golden haze on the meadow ...

Well, it's official. This coming weekend we are all traveling to Oklahoma where Michael will be preaching on Sunday morning. We'll be meeting church members throughout the weekend, and Sunday night the church will vote on whether or not to call him as their new pastor.

I was born in Oklahoma and spent a few years there as a child. However, I never expected to be back. Who woulda' thunk it?

So, it's a weird week of excitement, sadness, anticipation, and lots of deep thought. We can't wait to get there, but we're also in the muddle of leaving some of our favorite people on the planet.

My life has been full of the most wonderfully unique and perfect personalities to fill certain spots at just the right time.

I'll let you know if the corn is still as high as an elephant's eye.

What an incredible adventure! It's true, you will leave people you love and cherish, but there will be a support system for you wherever you find yourselves. I have to admit, I'm even a little jealous!

Best wishes! God works in mysterious ways...but then again you already know that. Interesting to see what's in store!

HUGS!

Where abouts in OK? We're just across the Red River from Durant. Hope it goes well.

So, what's your threshold percentage of approval?

I'll just let people know that they can write in their reason for a "nay" ... and if it's just my nose ring, then I won't hold that against them!

I'm not a religous person like yourself, but I very much respect where you are coming from and I hope that you find the path for yourself and your husband.

I can't wait to hear how it goes.

I know you have waited with great anticipation when God would have Michael fulfill the calling of Pastor! I know that you will be a great team and God will use you mightily! They will love you! Being real is the best thing! Texas won't be the same without you! We really need to get together before you move away!
