If only I would've ...

Have any regrets? I was thinking about that today. I guess it would be better to ask, "What would I do differently?"

So, I thought I'd make a little list. There are daily things that - of course - weren't the best decisions. Yet these are the few that really stick with me. So, if I could rewind, and have a do-over, here are the things I would change:

My hair up until 2002 (and if I simply had to narrow it down: 1987-1990!).

Waiting so long to consider medication for my depression and anxiety issues.

Weaning my daughter when she was just three-months old, and not speaking up for more support.

I would not have waited so long to pierce my nose or learn guitar.

Sixth grade. I don't really want a do-over. I just would have liked to have completely skipped that entire year.

Hmmm ... a LOT of the guys I dated before my husband. Some people say that you learn from every relationship. Yeah, I learned something, alright. I learned that I started a lot of relationships out of desperation and loneliness!

I would have removed the religious corncob from my butt prior to 1993.

I would give birth to my kids at home. Hands down, that's one of my biggies.

I would have used sunscreen every single time I was in the sun.

Anywho, that's what I have been thinking about today.

I will definitely check out that book! That's pretty cool that you would have given birth at home. I really do know several people this year that have done that. I'm not going to lie though, not one part of that sounds appealing, even though they all had good experiences. :) But, whatever. To each it's own I suppose (on this issue anyways) haha...
