ps. I seriously lost brain cells while reading that comment.

pss. I am wondering if my homeschooled daughter will still be able to attend Harvard once I confess my love of the internet to the admissions office, or if she will have to settle for Yale. bummer

Ahhahaha!!! You even manage to be a Cheeky Monkey while booby shopping and workin' the homeschooling skills! You just never fail to impress me with your multitasking abilities(that's what they are dear Kirstie)!!
If one were to stop naysaying and start using those energies toward the positive, there's just no telling what might be accomplished!
Christine, you are appreciated. :D

You and I do not agree on everything, but I think we could be good friends in this area.

Poor Kristie... she would not be happy with me. I just sent my youngest off to go to grandma's to plant flowers today. I only sent ONE book for him to read in the car on the way there. That will be his schooling for the day.

Sad is what it is!!

Could you imagine the comment if you were in the music business too??? ;)

beautiful pic! I don't know why people feel the need to be judgemental the way that they do. I have nothing but the utmost respect and awe for those moms that take on the challenge of their childrens education.

I am a proud aunt today! I got word from my mom that my SIL, who is expecting her first baby in September, is going to be breastfeeding her baby. When asked about it by my mom she said, "Well, everyone is breastfeeding these days aren't they?" LOL I wish!!!!!

Wow.

Looks like Im making big news in the blog world. People think that Im not going to respond after what happened over here the other day. Im not a coward and Im sick of all of these moms talking about me in a bad way. Im sorry but I guess Im the only one who cares about my childrens future.

Talk to all of you later when your kids are sitting on the street with a sign saying "will work for food".

Does someone have some stats to toss Kirstie's way, particularly regarding the acceptance rate of homeschoolers to colleges? Or shall we just let her continue in her bliss?

My husband is an engineering professors at a highly-respected Southern Baptist university and some of his brightest students were homeschooled.

I guess I'll chip in my two cents here...

I'm 17 and a senior in high school. I've been homeschooled all my life, and I am proud of it. I am going to a 4-year college next year and I will definitely NEVER be standing on a corner somewhere holding a sign begging for food. Just because I am homeschooled does not mean I am stupid and have no life goals and will never be able to do anything somewhat mentally challenging.
