It's sew easy to fall in love!

I did it! I did it! I did it! I made a skirt just tracing around my favorite purchased skirt to make a pattern. I used about $3 worth of scrap material from Wal Mart.

There are dimples and screw-ups all over it, but I've had my sewing machine less than a month. So, I think it is fabulicious!!!! No pattern. Funky design. It even has a zipper!!

Wanna' take bets on when it will fall apart?!?!

Isn't it a wonderful feeling? I remember when I got my machine, and the first thing I made was goody bags for my son's end of the year party, 25 of them!!! They even had draw strings. I made them out of the $2 a yard material at Walmart. I felt so great!! Rock on sewa-rella. Rock on.

I loved the recycling ideas. I'm a clothesaholic myself, so combining clothes with creativity is way cool. Your skirt is too cute! I'm enjoying your blog.
