"Call from Your Mother"

When we bought our new phones, we also got Talking Caller ID. It has been very helpful in screening calls (we're in the middle of schoolwork, but it might be a church member needing something - sick or hurt or in crisis, or it could be someone that could wait ... and we're all in the kitchen working on a science experiment, and we left the phone on the other side of the house ...).

It's also pretty comical, as it announces everyone's name phonetically and only as it is printed on Caller ID ("First Baptist Chrch!"). Sometimes, even if we're holding the phone, the kids will make us wait before answering so we can hear the announcement if it's a funny one.

Anyway, I waited a few days before posting this (because my husband's secretary really hates it when I give her any indication of when my husband and I have sex! ha! Hi, K!! *wink*wink*).

ALSO, since I was writing about sex a few days ago and how even now some things can throw my mood right out the window (like the kids banging on the door or images of certain people) ... if you have Talking Caller ID, make sure you remove the phone from the bedroom before you ... well, ya' know ...

I'm just saying!

Ewwww, big mood changer!

The kids banging on the door is the worst...and then trying to make your voice NOT sound like you've been doing anything behind that closed door!

Yeah, I don't know why I bothered buying birth control, children are more effective.

Hey, thanks for stopping by the blog! You are one funny chick! I'll be back (said in the Arnold voice) and I send your sentiments to Pastor Jon.

J has always set his mother's number to the Exorcist Theme Song on his cell phone. We know from 3 rooms away when she calls!

We had *just* finished "baby dancing" one night during the Clomid Days, and his cell phone rang with that song ....

It was the only month I prayed I wouldn't get pregnant - it was just too much of a bad omen in my mind! LOL
