I got really excited when I saw this article on "The World's Cheapest Destinations." A guest house in Laos for $20 a night?! Lordy be! HOW EXCITING.
Hmmmm ... let's see ... just factor in the $2200 plane ticket (per person), and you've got yourself quite a DEAL!
Speaking of ... I'm actually thinking about going to the BlogHer Conference in 2008. So, I'll be looking for some fellow squatters who want to shack up and split the cost.

A guest house in Laos for $20 is still expensive. You can get a cheaper one, around 5-10$ per night in Vang vieng !
