Take these words and shove it

I took a minute today to really understand the current Writer's Guild strike.

In the last two years, I have chosen to draw a line in the sand with my own writing. I have spent a lot of time creating some really great stuff, only to google myself and find that my words have been sold over and over and over again. Yet, my flat fee check has long been cashed.

Sure, sometimes I write crap. Yet, the good stuff deserves a working wage. I signed it all away, knowingly. Hind sight. It's my gift and it's my skill and it can provide for my family. I will not sell out again.

So, here's the deal with the Writer's Guild. Go funny people, GO!
