When you are stuck inside due to an ice storm, you have a lot of time on your hands. When you have spent the previous week cleaning insessently for an open house that didn't happen (including a giant grocery run and meals planned out for the following week), you find yourself ... really with nothing to do.
So, I crocheted. It started with the bunny. Of course, all three kids wanted something. At 1:45 am, I was crocheting a bikini top for a mermaid. I didn't mind. It was very therapeutic. Yoda was fashioned via my brain and a picture online (no pattern - I am very happy that it looks even remotely like that little green dude!).
As I'm up into the night, looking like a little old biddy with my lap blanket and yarn, I was struggling to decide what I could make for each child. Then I began to think about the possibility of adding more children to my home. Do I worry about college? Does my mind wonder to the extra amount of laundry? Nope. I'm sitting there pondering my various options of crochet patterns so that all of my children could receive a unique homemade thinga-ma-jig from their mother.

Very cute...I would have loved to receive one of those as a child! Sounds like you're thinking about more children???
