Sharing the Love

Corey gave me this award, and said the slightly provocative sweetest things about me. Thanks, Corey. It was actually Licia that hooked us up, so it made it even more special for me to be on a list with her and Lori!

Now, I'm supposed to pass along the award. Geez. Three years of blogging - how do you pick? I love all of you (okay, not all of you, but I at least LIKE ... most of you. *wink*). So, here goes:

First and foremost is my newly preggo friend, Summer. We met via MySpace two years ago, even though we live just about five minutes from one another (unless you catch a light - then it's probably more like seven minutes). I just plain love Summer. I love her kids. I love her incognito man. I miss her when I don't see her, but I feel like we talk every day via our blogs.

Although Keith and Kay are now suffering for Jesus in Florida, they will forever have a strong impact on my life and that of my husband. They are insanely special to us. Keith would never hesitate to see pain in my eyes and ask, "How's your marriage?" Everyone needs a couple like that in their lives. We rarely see one another, but that doesn't take anything away from how we care about them.

My not-very-close-friend from college, Lawree. If I could go back and hang out with someone that I never hung out with, it would be her. Now, I just hang out at her blog.

Mary Beth and Leann are two women I've been reading and loving for quite some time. They are the kind of cyber friends that I would visit if I were ever anywhere near them. They have both been really special to me in so many ways. Mary Beth is a pastor. Leann is married to a pastor. They're some of my "older" friends on here.

I've blogged about Leslie before (and got to meet her recently). She writes at "Recovering Noah," which will soon be rebranded as "Surving Eli and Nandini."

Then there is the quirky and WAY funny, Terroni. Nuff said. I LOVE TERRONI!!!

And last, but anything but least - are all of the blogging parents of RADishes (see my sidebar). I love all of you. I love our commonality. I send you love through prayers, knowing that many days you are loving children that are not yet capable of loving you back. To you I give the biggest handful of those red, heart-shaped soap looking thingies. Your unconditional love is tested every day. Your patience is stretched so thin you could wear it as sheer pantyhose. I am honored to have discovered all of you.

Awwww, I've never won an award before! Thank you so much. You're gonna make me cry.

First of all, I'd like to thank the Academy - for no reason, just because you're supposed to. And I'd like thank God - not because you're supposed to - but because I really want to. He's helping me survive my kids. Plus, He's just awesome.

Our God is an awesome God - He reigns.

I'd also like to thank my kids - because without them my life would be so boring. And I'd like to thank YOU, Christine, because you rock and knowing that you'll have a new blog post ready and waiting each morning helps me get my butt out of bed.

Thank You!

P.S. I need to pick your brain about Songlight.

Ohhh. You have two posts today. I am glad my name was mentioned in conjunction with this one :-).

As for the love, ditto! Maybe we can meet up one of these days at a HPU homecoming and see if we are too old to still find trouble...
