This afternoon, put the coffee on and have a heavy read. Doesn't matter if you follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, or not. This will give you some pause.
Then discuss. Disagree. Ponder. Argue. Find common ground.
With whomever is there. If you live by yourself, then call a friend, or your mom, and annoy them.
That's a great article - thanks for sharing it. Especially interesting is considering "aborted infants whom we believe are with the Lord or grown people of a non-Christian religion bombed into oblivion". Pretty interesting. I completely agree that the concept of pro-life should include all issues of life.
Very interesting Christine. Thanks for sharing :) Since the people I know seem to be on such extremely different sides, these political times can get so painfully uncomfortable. To one party the other side is always "pure evil". God's going to put who he wants in place for his will to be done. It all goes toward the end result. (But, yes, I'm still going to seek his wisdom in my discernment and not just blindly vote.)
I loved this article! I've been struggling with this very issue. I'm a pastor's wife and I had a "friend" from church tell me that if I vote Obama, he'd announce it from the pulpit. The very idea that I agreed with some of the democratic side pushed him to jokingly threaten me. Doesn't God love all of us? Aren't there Christians in all the political parties?

LOVED this article - especially as i find myself leaning more towards democrats. for some reason this is unthinkable to many in my family. sigh.
Ok. Just for you I asked my husband "What do you think of Palin?" He said "I don't know." That's it. I tried.
tried several times to get there and the link did not work for me... I will try it again later. :)
I got a page load error. But, as per your request, I told my mom. She says page load errors do indeed annoy her.
Thanks for sharing!

Did I ever tell you I love your blog?
Blessings,
