The Moers go a votin' - A Picture Essay

Paper towels make great mock ballots

The Pastor agonizing over his ballot

Waiting patiently to receive my ballot

Someone is waiting not-so-patiently for her parents to get it over already

This is what you get when you vote early on Halloween

Welcome to my Vote

Over the lips and through the gums,
watch out electoral college,
here it comes!

YEA KAY COUNTY!

Me after taking a leak, after voting - what?
TMI?

Yeah ... that's about right

We voted today. I took Noah and Eli with me. We live in a retirement community, so we were the youngest voters by about 30-40 years. And it's a red state. You get the picture. Well, Eli - Mr. Talkative that he is - starts telling everyone, "We're voting for Barack! We're voting for Barack! Who are you votin' for? You votin' for Barack??"

Thankfully, we were in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. Whew.

And my tires weren't even slashed.

We voted Thursday afternoon and took Kathryn with us. We had to wait an hour in line. That kind of made me happy! I have not waited in a line to vote in YEARS! I'm glad so many are voting this year.

I took the kiddos with me to vote yesterday, too. Dan will have to wait 'til Tuesday... he didn't get off work early enough on Friday. He can go on his off period on Tuesday, though, cause they encourage the teachers to go on election day at his school. :) SO glad to be done and now we wait... ;)

We vote by mail here. It's a beautiful thing.
