You are what your parents eat

"Food preferences and tastes are formed early in life
and children learn to eat the diets eaten by their parents."

That's why I always make it a point to eat my Ben and Jerry's AFTER the kids go down. :)

Does this mean my kids are apples smeared w/peanut butter? Because lately, I am addicted!

And then, there's the chocolate. Always the chocolate.

And Chipotle. Anything Chipotle.

And Special K w/ strawberries too.

Or, Costco hotdogs w/ deli mustard and sauerkraut.

Gosh, my kids are weird. They have no rhyme or reason. They are all over the map! These kids!

I eat a lot of spicy food and never stopped "just in case" A couldn't tolerate it. That kid now eats chili and seasoned taco meat like there's no tomorrow. It will be awhile before I subject him to my favorite spicy dish, though - chicken vindaloo!
