It's 9:06 am, and I am still in my p.j.'s.
Still in my bed.
We've told the kids they can have toast for breakfast (meaning: fix it yourself).
There is absolutely nothing we need to buy today - except some milk, but you know what I mean.
There is nothing I need.
Nothing.
And things I want? Maybe a full-body massage. Something beneficial to my health and totally consumable. We are still downsizing. We have so very much.
I am so very happy. Content.
Delighted, even.

Well, your brother, Tracy and I went to two stores, got to the lines and learned that the stores only had 6 of what we wanted and was already gone to people in line so we went to the donut shop and got some donuts for the kids (and adults) and came back home and talked. We should have just stayed home and talked. Oh, well.
Amen!
Love it!
We did go out after lunch. The grocery store has a sale on canned veggies, bought $20 worth for the food bank.
yes - we told the kids to eat pie for breakfast. :) And believe it or not, the word verification for me to post this comment is "feral" - am I being judged by blogger for making my kids serve their own pie for breakfast?
See, I could've done some Black Friday shopping, seeing that I have children who wake up at 5:30am on a school holiday... but as much as a I try, I just cannot muster up enthusiasm for televisions, video games, and fancy phones.
I did send Sim out to WM b/c we were out of cereal. He was traumatized....
I have 0 interest in Black Friday too. We are always either at my mom's or my husband's and would rather hang out with them.
I don't do the 5 AM thing, but I usually get any linens we need on Black Friday. Nothin' like 60% off king size sheets and new towels. :) My hubby, Auntie, sister and myself had a great morning of hanging out while shopping while the boys went shooting with Grandpa.
Blessings!
Hannah
I didn't participate either!!!! I hate shopping!
