My life, my videos and our story are all free to you. Therapy and support cost too much. If you want to donate to our family and this blog, you may. Never forget, however, of the riches you already have to give - yourself. Support another mom, another home. Pay it forward. You cannot put a price tag on support.
"My story is important not because it is mine, God knows, but because if I tell it anything like right, the chances are you will recognize that in many ways it is also yours. Maybe nothing is more important than that we keep track, you and I,of these stories of who we are and where we have come from and the people we have met along the way because it is precisely through these stories, in all their particularity,as I have long believed and often said, that God makes himself known to each of us most powerfully and personally."

I am lovin' the pics! I am a medical student and this year I have been working on a little side project which involves bringing medical and nursing students to a local home for pregnant teens to teach them about breastfeeding. We are always looking for new "tricks" to encourage breastfeeding. So far we've used a lot of casual group discussions and dvds- I even rented a breastfeeding "rap" dvd from the WIC clinic in austin to show this week. Just wondering if you have any tips to encourage teens to pick up this healthy behavior...
Take one homeschooling mom with dreads and a nose ring, add a hot bald dude, five kids via birth/adoption, a bunch of special needs, an RV park ... yup, that's us.

I love this pic, I think it's my favorite. Great angle.
