Friends gifted me some clothes. I had to break out the sewing machine. Check it.

Nice shirts! I'm new to you're blog, I found you from a how-to video on sewing, because I've decided to start learning how to sew, in order to make my own weird, funky stuff...I just wanted to know how you did the second one...it seem like a style I would like on a lot of my old shirts I'm bored with!!

Eleni,

I just cut off the top of the shirt and made a seam for some elastic to run through (folded it down).

Because it was so big and long, I just folded under some material partway down to make another seam for elastic. That's basically it. It was a try-and-guess kind of thing.
