I started taking fish oil when I found out I was pregnant a few months ago, and it has made a HUGE difference in my brain power. I buy it at Sam's Club, it's much cheaper there, $12 for a bottle of 150 1200mg capsules (so you only have to take one a day). I hadn't thought about giving it to my kids but I have no idea how to get them to take it.

Well, Tracy, I said I wouldn't push Dr. Sears' products yet here I go!

Click on his links in my post. He has designed his stuff specifically to NOT taste fishy. It's much pricier than the giant bottles I grab at Wal Mart, but they may help you out until she can swallow capsules.

I take fish oil daily too. My middle child has arthritis and so I have tried several different kinds of fish oil capsules with her and they were all gross. You know, the kid kind that they chew and come in flavors? So I gave up. I really wish you'd share what kind you give your kids! I also have to be careful that Cassie doesn't get any Omega 6's - those actually make inflammation worse.

I was good at taking prenatal vitamins, but now that the breast feeding is over, I had stopped. I just started taking a multivitamin again this week. Now, I better add the fish pill too. Thanks Christine!
