It might be that you could really dive in and find out how you could step in and help them right there where they are.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Healing does happen, but as a person ages, the likelihood decreases. Not surprisingly, many are run-aways and many more have "aged-out" of the system.  &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;They are RAD kids.  They've survived what people should not have to survive.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Many are well on their way to a boderline personality disorder diagnosises  - if they ever show up on the radar of mental health professionals. &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;This is the kicker: &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;These kids have babies.  These RAD kids become parents, and on and on it goes.  I know.  My daughter escaped the cycle when social services interviened ...but it's still there, still happening...and my brain just won't wrap around it.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;I have too many questions.  But one is this: How do you heal this?  And when does it stop?  Is there any solution besides theraputic parenting and Jesus? There are so many therapists out there, and yet so few who are equipped to deal with RAD.
